First, go to Google and enter link: followed by any keyword  relevant to your site.

For example, if I'm looking for keywords related to Google Analytics I would enter link:analytics into the search bar.

Then scroll down to Related Searches on the left-hand side of your screen.

Here you'll see a list of all the searches people have made using similar words as yours.

Find one that relates most closely to what you're searching for, copy it into your browser address bar, and press Enter.

Keep going until you find something interesting - then save it as an email draft or bookmark it so you can explore later when you have time.

Don't be discouraged if you don't find anything worthwhile right away - there are nearly two billion pages indexed on Google.

And remember, the related searches column doesn't necessarily mean that the pages listed will be useful to you; just because someone searched link building doesn't mean their related search was also link building.

And it doesn't matter what word you put before site.

If you want to see a list of sites related to breakfast cereals, just put site:cereal into the box.

If you want examples from someone else, just type in site: followed by whatever word comes to mind and see what pops up.

There are so many other ways you can get links to your site.

Here are a few of them:
1) Create or curate content on sites that allow guest posts
For example, if you have something to say about marketing, then you could write an educational post about the subject and publish it on a site like Quora or Medium that hosts guest posts.

2) Contact bloggers and influencers in your niche and ask them if they would be willing to share your content with their audience.

3) Share your content on social media channels, such as Facebook and Twitter.

4) Post a link back to your website from another page within your site's navigation menu or footer - don't link to just one page on your site!
